Print Foundry LLC (“Print Foundry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website printfoundry.studio(the “Site”) and sells 3D-printed objects and custom commissions from our family-run studio in Anaheim, California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).

By using the Site or placing an order you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1.Who we are

Print Foundry LLC
7671 E Moonridge Ln, Anaheim, CA 92808, United States
Email: info@printfoundry.studio

For the purposes of CCPA/CPRA, Print Foundry LLC is the “business” that determines the purposes and means of processing your personal information collected on the Site.

2.Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Information you give us

  • Account & order details — name, email address, shipping address, billing address, phone number (if provided), order history.
  • Payment metadata — payment is processed by Shopify Payments / Stripe and we do not store full card numbers. We may see the card type, last four digits, expiration month, and the billing-zip used.
  • Custom-order content — sketches, photos, files, and any reference material you send us for custom commissions, plus the project details you describe in our contact form.
  • Communications — messages and attachments you send to us via email or contact form, including support requests.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & browser data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time zone, referring URL.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, products viewed, search queries, time spent on each page, and click events.
  • Cookies & similar tech — session cookies, cart cookies, and analytics cookies, described in Section 6 below.

3.How we use your information

  • To process and fulfill your orders, including production, packaging, and shipping.
  • To communicate with you about an order, a custom commission, or a support request.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and chargeback risk.
  • To improve the Site — performance, layout, product offering.
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, consumer-protection rules).
  • With your consent, to send occasional marketing emails. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.

4.Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and fulfill orders. We do not sell your personal information for monetary value.

  • Shopify Inc. — hosts our commerce backend (catalog, cart, checkout, customer accounts).
  • Stripe / Shopify Payments — processes card payments and stores card credentials.
  • Shipping carriers — USPS, UPS, FedEx, and similar carriers receive the name and shipping address needed to deliver your order.
  • Supabase — stores submissions made through our contact form so we can respond.
  • Resend — sends transactional and notification emails on our behalf.
  • Vercel — hosts the Site and its server logs.
  • Google Analytics or similar, if enabled — anonymous aggregated usage analytics.
  • Law-enforcement or legal requests — when we are legally compelled (subpoena, court order), or when necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.

Each of these providers acts as our “service provider” under the CCPA and is contractually limited to the data needed to provide their service.

5.No international shipping

Print Foundry currently ships within the United States only. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., please understand your data will be processed in the U.S. and is subject to U.S. law.

6.Cookies & tracking

We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary — session, cart, and CSRF tokens required for checkout to function.
  • Preferences — remember which variant or option you selected last.
  • Analytics — aggregate page-view and product-view counts.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site (notably the cart and checkout) won’t work without them.

7.How long we keep your data

  • Order records: as long as required for tax, warranty, and accounting (typically 7 years under U.S. tax rules).
  • Account data: until you ask us to delete it, then archived in encrypted backups for up to 90 days.
  • Contact-form submissions: 24 months unless the conversation is part of an active order.
  • Server logs: 30 days.

8.Your rights (California & other U.S. states)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:

  • Right to know what categories of information we collect, why, and with whom we share it.
  • Right to access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have about you.
  • Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (e.g. tax records).
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a lesser experience because you exercised a privacy right.

Residents of other U.S. states with similar privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others) have substantially the same rights, and we honor them on the same terms.

To submit a request, email info@printfoundry.studio from the address on file with your order. We will respond within 45 days. You can authorize an agent in writing to make a request on your behalf.

9.Children’s privacy

The Site is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10.Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — HTTPS, hashed credentials, principle of least privilege for staff access — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or sent to you by email if you have an account.
