These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website printfoundry.studio(the “Site”) and any order you place with Print Foundry LLC (“Print Foundry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1.Who we are
Print Foundry LLC, 7671 E Moonridge Ln, Anaheim, CA 92808, United States. Contact: info@printfoundry.studio.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) and able to form a binding contract to use the Site or place an order. By placing an order you confirm that the billing and shipping information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you select.
3.Accounts
You can browse the Site without an account, but a Shopify-backed customer account is required to track an order or save addresses. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account.
4.Products, availability, and handmade variation
Our pieces are 3D-printed, hand-finished, and packed in our Anaheim studio. We offer two kinds of inventory:
- Ready-to-ship pieces — physically in stock and shipped within our stated handling window.
- Made-to-order & custom commissions — produced after you place the order, based on the specifications you select or share with us.
Because every piece is finished by hand, slight variation in surface texture, layer lines, color, and weight between photographs and the finished item is normal and is not considered a defect. We try to photograph each product family in representative light, but screen colors may not match the finished piece exactly.
5.Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments / Stripe at the time you place an order. We reserve the right to correct typographical errors or pricing mistakes and to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price; in that case we will refund any payment received in full.
6.Custom & made-to-order pieces
For custom commissions and made-to-order pieces:
- You agree to the design and specifications at the start of production. Once you have approved the design preview and we have begun printing, the order cannot be cancelled or returned for a buyer’s-remorse refund.
- If a custom piece arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you approved, it is covered by our Refund Policy.
- You confirm you own the rights to any logo, image, sketch, or text you send us for inclusion in the piece, and that we may use it to fulfill your order.
7.Wholesale & business orders
Wholesale and business orders (more than 10 pieces, branded objects, event/retail runs) are governed by an additional quote and lead-time agreement we send separately. By default:
- A deposit is required before production starts.
- The lead time is 2–4 weeks from approval of the final design.
- Cancellation after production starts forfeits the deposit; cancellation after shipping is subject to the same defect-only refund rules as custom orders.
- Branded objects bearing a customer’s logo remain the customer’s intellectual property; Print Foundry does not retain rights to the design.
8.Shipping and delivery
We ship within the United States only. Standard handling time for ready-to-ship pieces is 1–3 business days; custom and made-to-order pieces ship per the timeline confirmed in your order. Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) are responsible for transit and delivery; risk of loss passes to you once we hand the package to the carrier, but please see our Refund Policy for transit-damage claims.
9.Returns & refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10.Intellectual property
The Print Foundry name, logo, product photographs, illustrations, videos, and the design of the Site are owned by Print Foundry LLC and are protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without prior written permission, except for the limited purpose of personal browsing.
11.User submissions
When you send us a sketch, photo, file, or other material for a custom commission (a “Submission”), you grant Print Foundry a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and store the Submission solely as needed to fulfill your order, demonstrate the finished piece in a portfolio (with your consent), and improve our process. You represent that you own the Submission or have permission from the rights-holder to share it with us.
12.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any third party’s rights.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the Site at a volume that interferes with normal operation.
- Submit material that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit, or that depicts minors in sexualized contexts.
- Attempt to impersonate another person or organization.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that involve material we believe violates these Terms.
13.Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy, the Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Print Foundry disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Site may contain typographical errors or be unavailable for maintenance from time to time.
14.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Print Foundry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to the Site or any order. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Print Foundry LLC, its officers, employees, and suppliers harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your Submissions, or your misuse of the Site.
16.Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or an order will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing in this section limits your right to bring a small-claims action in your local jurisdiction.
17.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
