Dragon sculpture from a customer's sketch
Customer project
A dragon brought to life from the customer's own drawing, modeled in 3D and printed with the scales, waves and details of the sketch kept.

The brief
The customer had a hand-drawn dragon and wanted it as a physical object, with the scales, the waves at its base and the pose of the drawing preserved.
Project facts
- Application
- Decorative sculpture from a hand drawing
- Scope
- 3D modeling from the sketch, review on screen, print preparation, printing
- Material and finish
- PLA, printed finish
The approach
We modeled the dragon in 3D from the sketch, reviewed the model with the customer on screen, then prepared it for printing so the fine details survived at the chosen size and the supports touched only hidden surfaces.
The approved reference
The 3D model was reviewed and approved on screen before printing started.
The result
A printed dragon that follows the original drawing in pose and detail. A sketch, a reference image or a written idea can start a project the same way.
